Licence
Licence
The Licencia de Ocio identifies you as a downhill rider and gives you access to sports medical insurance across the whole country — with no need to compete.
— / The leisure licence
The Licencia de Ocio (leisure licence) for downhill, as well as identifying you as a downhill rider, gives access to major benefits such as sports medical insurance — and the peace of mind of having the risks of downhill covered anywhere in the country, with no need to compete.
Validity & renewal
Once you hold the licence, it is valid for one year, from 1 January to 31 December of that year. When it expires, renewal follows the same initial process through the application on the CND website.
How to get federated
Each autonomous community has its own federation card. To get federated, contact your community: there they will explain the details of the insurance and what to do in case of an accident.
— / Ranking & National Team
Holding the federation card lets you appear in the national riders' ranking and be eligible to join the Spanish longboard or inline National Team. You'll be able to represent your people in competitions around the world alongside the National Downhill Committee and the Real Federación Española de Patinaje.
